What is this blog about?!

Hi everyone,

This is a blog that will be kept up to date by a group of CIT students who are currently working on their third year project.

It involves working on a website (in PHP), and organizing a database (in MySql) to go with it. Our customer has established the Cork and Kerry Placenames Survey. Set up with the goal of collecting placenames and preserving the history that they represent. This site will be avaliable to the public, allowing anyone to use either to look up information or submit information on placenames in Ireland.

Our group working on this consists of three students, Juliette, Evgeniya, and I. We are planning on keeping a blog about the progress of our work for this project. Anyone is welcome to follow us, comment, and ask questions.

Thanks for reading,

-Ezgi
